Website Design and Redesign

Our websites are designed with the customer in mind we listen carefully to what your design requirements are and design a website specifically to suit your needs.

Our websites are XHTML X1.0 Transitional this is a reformulation of HTML as an XML application. The W3C (World Wide Web Consortium) now recommend that all webpages be developed with XHTML code. W3C develops standards for web design to improve interoperability by developing common protocols, look at their website at http://www.w3.org/ for more information.

Our websites use dynamic php code and css style sheets they follow best practice quidelines and undergo rigorous webchecks and validation as well as testing on different browsers.

Designing for Accesssibility

By making a website accessible, it will be available to the widest audience possible. Our aim is to make our websites accessible to all users including people with disabilities for whom the internet can be a very valuable communication and information tool. All our websites are designed to meet priority levels 2/3 according to the WAI (Web accessibility Initative).

for more information on accessibility standards please see The Irish National Disability Authority IT Accessibility Guidelines - http://accessit.nda.ie/guidelineindex_1.htmland W3C's Web Accessibility Initiative (WAI) - http://www.w3.org/WAI
